On June 25th, 1924, Helen Amelia Clay married William (Billy) Sturgis Ellis ( born 18 Sep 1889 – 08 July 1960).
They were the only couple in the Clay family to have children: one son, Dick, and one daughter, Joan Ellis.  

Clays & Ellis’ 1925 – 1940

Helen (Clay) Ellis and Billy Ellis began their family in 1925 with the birth of their son, Dick, followed by the arrival of their daughter, Joan Ellis, in 1928. Together, they cherished spending their summers at the lake, creating lasting memories with family and friends that would be treasured for generations.
